A lightweight touring awning, perfect for mid-height vehicles, the Vango Hexaway is made from a robust Sentinel 420 Denier polyester fabric, highly durable, yet still lightweight for touring purposes. The hexagonal design of the shelter makes it the perfect social, dining, and living space. Furthermore, the Hex will enhance any outdoor adventure, providing great cover from the elements, creating ample living space exterior to the camper van, and providing a durable shelter that will last many camping seasons if well cared for.

Key Features:

• Sentinel Eco Fabrics: A massively upgraded fabric, offering 420 Denier Ripstop polyester, which is highly durable, tear-resistant, and designed to be out earlier and later into the season. The Eco fabrics are now manufactured with recycled plastic bottles to help reduce the impact of manufacturing. The fabric still offers the same great Vango quality, with a 6000mm hydrostatic head, to ensure the awning remains highly waterproof.
• Mid-Line Design: Designed to fit the growing trend of motorhomes and camper vans, with a mid-line height, such as the Fiat Ducato style vans in the market, or compact motorhomes with a lower height than the taller motorhomes. The connecting panel has an adjustable height of 215-255cm, which can be adjusted with tension straps on either side of the connecting panel.

• Drive Away Capability: The Hexaway comes complete with the ability to free-stand, which means the awning can be left on the campsite for the day, whilst the van is taken offsite for the day.

• Hexagonal Design: Offers plenty of living space, storage space, and the ideal place to sit and socialise as a group. The design is unique in the marketplace, as the design is registered.

• Connecting Panel: A large storage space that connects the awning to the camper van habitation door, the panel also has two off-set doors for easier access into the van, without having to step foot in the awning living space.

• Superbeam Design: A simple yet effective inflatable design, reduces pitching times, and set down times. The 13cm Superbeam is the strongest air tube that Vango offers, making it an ideal partner for the Sentinel Eco 420 Denier polyester fabric. The beam has three valves, so before inflating, be sure to close two of the valves off, for quicker inflation.

Methods of Attachment

1. Pre Attached Kador Rail 6mm – slides straight into a rail, or wind out awning. (Fiamma Requires a 4mm Drive Away Kit). Purchase a drive-away kit for the ability to be able to drive off-site.
2. Velcro Straps – easily attach to roof bars should the van have these.
3. Sleeve for Pole and Clamp Kit to allow for older styles of camper van, which have a gutter fitted to the side of the van.
4. 8M Storm Straps – can be thrown over the vehicle and pegged down the other side.
